Who we are
Salespace is operated by Salespace Platforms, Inc., a Delaware corporation based in Miami, Florida (“Salespace”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and app (the “Service”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors, customers and the people they invite to their stores.
For your stores’ content, such as products, media and campaigns, you decide what goes into Salespace and we process it on your behalf to provide the Service, under “Data processing” in our Terms of Service.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, profile photo and how you sign in (such as by email or with a social account), handled through our sign-in provider, Clerk. We never see your password.
- Store information: your stores’ names, websites, markets, languages, currencies and icons, and who you invite, with their roles and permissions.
- Products and imports: the product links you give us and what we read from those public pages: names, descriptions, prices, variants, ratings, images and videos. For Shopify stores we read only their public storefront data; Salespace is not installed as a Shopify app and can’t see orders or customers.
- Media and creations: images and videos you upload, the prompts you write, and the images, videos, Avatars and ad copy you create.
- Meta information: when you connect Meta, we receive access to the business, ad accounts, Pages, Instagram accounts and Pixels you choose, and we store your ad accounts’ details, the campaigns we manage for you and their results (such as spend, impressions, clicks and purchases). We don’t receive or store your personal Facebook profile.
- Billing information: your plan, credits, invoices, billing address and tax ID. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Messages to us: the email address and message you send through our contact form or by email.
- Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, and logs of requests to our servers, used for security, preventing abuse and fixing problems.
- Website visits: the pages visited on our website and how fast they load, counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you or follow you across other websites.
- Cookies: a few essential cookies and similar storage, described in our Cookie Policy. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use your information
- To provide the Service: importing products, creating media and ad copy, and publishing, managing and reporting on your campaigns.
- To run the Autopilot rules you set and to send you notifications, including alerts, updates and suggestions.
- To manage your account, plan, credits and payments, and to send you invoices and messages about your account.
- To answer your messages and support requests.
- To email you. Business emails, about your account, billing, security, support and your campaigns (such as Autopilot changes and Meta’s review), are on by default; you can turn off the notification ones in Email preferences in the app, and those needed to run your account always come. Marketing & updates emails, with news, new features, product updates and offers, are off unless you turn them on in Email preferences; you can stop them at any time there or with the unsubscribe link in any of them.
- To keep the Service secure: preventing spam, fraud and abuse, and enforcing our limits and Terms.
- To maintain and improve the Service, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don’t sell your personal information, we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we don’t use your content to train AI models.
AI processing
Salespace uses AI providers to create what you ask for. Each receives only what its task needs, to produce a result for you:
- Images are created through fal.ai, from your prompt, the product’s name and the reference images you choose.
- Videos are created through Higgsfield, from your prompt and the reference images or videos you choose.
- Product details are read from imported pages with OpenAI, from the page’s text and product images.
- Ad copy is written with Anthropic, from the product’s details, the ad’s images or video frames, and its settings.
Media is shared with providers through private links that expire, and we ask providers not to keep results longer than needed to deliver them. Providers may refuse requests that break their content policies.
Who we share it with
We share information only as described here. Our service providers process it on our behalf, under contracts that limit its use to providing their services:
- Clerk: sign-in, accounts and invitation emails.
- Stripe: payments, invoices and tax.
- DigitalOcean: our servers and database, in the United States.
- Cloudflare: media storage, content delivery, security, spam protection (Turnstile) and website analytics without cookies.
- Vercel: hosting of our website and app.
- fal.ai, Higgsfield, OpenAI and Anthropic: AI processing, as described above.
- Zyte: fetching public product pages that can’t be read directly.
- Resend: delivering contact form messages and their confirmations.
We also share information:
- With Meta, at your direction: the campaigns, ads, media and settings you publish are sent to your Meta ad accounts. Meta’s own policies apply to what it receives.
- With your team: people you invite to a store can see and change its content, according to the permissions you give them.
- For legal reasons: when required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, Salespace or others.
- In a business transfer: as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, under this policy’s protections.
Meta platform data
We use the data we receive from Meta only to provide the features you use in Salespace: publishing and managing your campaigns, showing their results, and running your Autopilot rules and suggestions. We don’t sell it, use it for advertising, or share it except with the service providers that help us run Salespace. We request only the permissions these features need, and we act only on campaigns Salespace created for you.
You can remove Salespace’s access at any time in your Facebook or Meta Business settings, and request deletion as described on our Data Requests page.
How long we keep it
- Your account and stores’ information, for as long as you use Salespace.
- When your plan ends, we keep your stores and their information for 90 days in case you choose a plan again. After that, your stores are deleted as below; your account stays until you delete it.
- A deleted store, with its products, media and campaign data, is erased permanently 30 days after deletion.
- Deleted media is removed from our storage within minutes.
- Product imports you don’t save are deleted after 24 hours, and unfinished uploads after 7 days.
- Meta information is deleted 90 days after a Meta connection is disconnected, in Salespace or by removing Salespace in Meta, so reconnecting within that time restores it. It’s deleted at once with the account it belongs to, and with a deleted store as above.
- When you delete your account, your name, email and photo are erased at once, and the stores you own are deleted as above.
- Server logs are kept briefly and overwritten as new ones are written.
- Billing records and invoices are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.
- Messages you send us are kept as long as needed to help you and keep a record of our support.
How we protect it
Information is encrypted in transit. Your Meta access is stored encrypted, your media is kept in private storage and shared only through links that expire, and access within Salespace follows the roles and permissions you set. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to fix problems quickly.
Where it’s processed
Salespace is based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there and wherever our service providers operate. When we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent you’ve given. You can update your profile and delete your account in the app at any time, and write to info@salespace.com for anything else. We may need to confirm your identity first. We’ll respond within 30 days. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.
If you’re in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom: we process your information to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving Salespace, to meet legal obligations, and with your consent where we ask for it, such as connecting Meta or getting marketing & updates emails. You can complain to your local data protection authority.
If you’re in California: you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, to delete and correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don’t sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law, and we don’t use sensitive personal information beyond providing the Service.
Age
Salespace is for people 18 and older, and for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, write to us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Salespace changes. We’ll change the date at the top, and for important changes we’ll tell you by email or in the app before they apply.
